In 2013 my brother, Neal Haddaway and I spent a week climbing in the Chamonix valley as part of the training and preparations ahead of the Matterhorn Expedition. The climax of the week was an attempt to summit Mont Blanc, the highest mountain in western Europe (4808m or 15,776ft). I’m going to put a more detailed report from the trip up here in due course but for now here are some pictures from the climb.
